Youth Sports Performance at The FIT Facility
Ages 8–12. Safe. Coached. Built for long-term athletic development
Your kid does not need to specialize at 9.
They do not need to be “crushed” in a workout to get better.
And they definitely do not need to train like a mini adult.
They need a foundation.
At The FIT Facility, Youth Sports Performance is where we build the base most kids never get:
How to run with better mechanics
How to stop and decelerate without falling apart
How to jump and land safely
How to move laterally and change direction with control
How to develop coordination, balance, and body control
How to be coachable in a structured environment
This is the entry point to real athletic development.
Who this is for
This program is for parents of kids ages 8–12 who want their child to:
Move better and feel more confident playing sports
Develop coordination and control (without being pushed too fast)
Learn the basics the right way before speed and strength become serious
Reduce the “awkward phase” that shows up in games when kids cannot brake, cut, or land well
Build habits that carry over to middle school and high school athletics
If your kid plays multiple sports, perfect. That is how it should be at this age.
What your child will do in Youth Sports Performance
Every session is coached and structured. It is fun, but it is not random.
We focus on:
Warm-up and movement prep that teaches positions and body awareness
Speed and agility fundamentals with simple cues kids can actually apply
Deceleration and change of direction basics so they can cut and stop under control
Intro plyometrics like hops and jumps done the right way
Intro strength training using safe, age-appropriate progressions
Games and competitive drills that improve reaction, focus, and confidence
Kids leave tired, but more importantly, they leave better.
Why this matters long-term
Most injury risk and performance limitations later come from one problem now.
Kids grow. Their bodies change. Their coordination lags behind.
If they never learn how to:
control their body
absorb force
decelerate
land
rotate and re-accelerate
then the game gets faster and their body cannot keep up.
Youth Sports Performance is how we build athletes who are stronger, safer, and more coachable later.
What makes FIT different for kids
We are not trying to max out 10-year-olds.
We are building a foundation that makes everything else easier later.
Parents like this program because it is:
coached
structured
age-appropriate
confidence-building
focused on long-term development, not short-term fatigue
